Six Sentence Sunday 12/18/11

My Holiday Gift to You. :)

Greetings, my darling sixers, and welcome to the final Six Sentence Sunday of 2011! We're gonna close out with a bit from the new opening of my erotic horror story The House on Shadowbird Lane, which I hope to sub next week. Have you ever felt like you might have multiple personalities?

Evalyn hadn’t slept in days. She couldn’t bear to imagine what horrors the other her would unleash on the world if allowed out to "play". She paced the well worn path in her bedroom carpet, doing everything she could think of to stay awake. But despite her best efforts, her eyes began to droop and she yawned, fighting the urge to climb into the bed. Shaking off the fatigue, she grabbed a bottle from her dresser and popped it open before tossing another caffeine pill down her gullet.
She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and started.

Six Sentence Sunday 12/11/11

Howdy, sixers! Remember those drinking games in college? Well, I made up one for One of the Boys, which is one of my current WIPs. Wanna play?

“The game is called Edge of Glory and the rules are simple. First and foremost: always be honest. If your answer is no you take a shot, if it's yes you lose an article of clothing; your answers will either get you into Heaven or sent to Hell. Besides that, there’s only one rule. The first one naked," he said, surveying Casey, "is the first one fucked. Gender be damned.”

Six Sentence Sunday 12/4/11

Hello and welcome to my official start of the holidays you sexy sixers. We're gonna take a little break from the talking mirrors and body stealing today. Instead, how about a snippet from my latest release: My Only Wish (This Year)? Let's just say, I'll never look at a mall's North Pole display the same way again.

Brian heard Santa sigh and when he looked back at the chair, it held a tiny sign that read Back in 15.

“But, um,” Angelo said, squeezing Brian’s hand. “Since Santa’s gone, and all, we should probably guard his workshop.”
“What are you…” He’d caught sight of the look in Angelo’s eyes and the words died in his throat. God, that man was sexy when he was horny.

Six Setence Sunday 11/27/11

Greetings, sixers! This week's six is more from The House on Shadowbird Lane. Sometimes...it's best not to look into mirrors.

She was about to turn and walk away when her reflection smirked. Confused, her hand moved to her mouth, but there was no smirk there. “You were just another piece of ass to him,” the mirror Evalyn said.
Evalyn started. That was impossible. Mirrors didn’t talk outside of fairytales.

Six Sentence Sunday 11/20/11

Greeting, my sexy sixers. Are you ready for another six from The House on ShadowBird Lane? This week, one of the House's ghostly inhabitants is...er...piggybacking on one of the guests' more intimate moments.

The glint in her eyes was unmistakable, and half a second later, Stephen was shrugging out of his suit jacket and undoing his pants. He was so hard I felt the pain of it, and at this point, I was just as desperate to get inside her as he was. It had been so long. He unzipped his slacks and shoved them down his thighs a little. His erection sprang forth, longer than any I’d ever seen. A tinge of jealousy dinged my pride and I decided then that, once I’d evicted his soul, this body would be mine.

Six Sentence Sunday 11/13/11

Remember Saw? Imagine Jigsaw's voice as I say "Hello, sixers". I couldn't stay away from the erotic horror (even though I tried), so this week's six is from my recently completed horror novella The House on ShadowBird Lane. Six co-workers are partying inside a house they don't know is haunted. And one of its inhabitants is watching them.

She sashayed into the room as though she owned it, tight leopard-print garment clinging to her body for dear life; it was far too short to be called a dress, considering it stopped only half an inch below her plump, delectable ass. I longed for the days when I had a body of my own because Lucifer in hell, the things I would have done to her. Her energy glowed around her, blood red and tarnished beyond repair, but her soul was strong. I could feel it. I floated closer to her and tasted her aura, and the damned thing left a taste like rotted meat on my senses so potent I nearly gagged. What kind of horrible person was she?

Six Sentence Sunday 11/6/11

Hello, and Welcome darling sixers! This week's six is from my brand new WIP. Not sure if it's gonna be m/m, m/f, or some combination thereof just yet, so bear with me here. Right now, I know that it's contemporary, it's called Damn That Radio, and my hero, James, is having a pretty tough night.

“I wish my dick was magical,” I say, watching the shooting star as it plummets towards the Earth. “That no one will be able to resist it and as soon as they have it, they’ll want it forever.” I close my eyes and repeat the wish in my head. For half a second, I think I feel something rolling down my spine, leaving a tingling warmth in its place, but a second later and I’m sure I imagined it.
I open my eyes again and the world shimmers in front of me. Fuck that; I am not about to cry over her.

Six Sentence Sunday 10/30/11

Howdy, sixers! I was going to do more from Can't Make You Love Me (my latest release), but considering tomorrow is Halloween, and all I wouldn't feel right not pulling from erotic horror story Last Friday Night. So without further ado: Jessie and Tyler are trying to escape from their captivity, but something is standing in their way.

There didn’t seem to be anything moving in the pitch blackness surrounding them, but there was definitely something there. Jessie could feel it. Whatever it was was big, and the more closely he listened, the better he could hear the slow, shallow breaths coming from its mouth. “What is that?” he asked again. He could hear the tears in his own voice as the voice from the bedroom replayed itself in his brain.
'The two of you will face your deepest, darkest fears.'

Tell me sixers, what are you afraid of? But even if you don't feel like sharing, be sure to check out more authors who may or may not be facing their deepest darkest fears on the Six Sentence Sunday site here.

Six Sentence Sunday 10/16/11

Greetings, sixers! Today (and maybe next week), we're gonna take a break from Last Friday Night and have some snippets from my just released I/R m/m novel Can't Make You Love Me. Sean and Dylan have been friends for a long time. Are they ready to take that next step?

Before Sean could resume his mission, Dylan grabbed him by the hair and forced him to look at him. As he stared into his best friend’s eyes, he realized that he’d never wanted anyone as much as he wanted Sean in that moment. He had to taste him, had to own him before he missed his chance and someone else did. He brought Sean’s face closer to his own, close enough for their noses to touch. He knew what he wanted, and what he could see of Sean’s eyes said that the other boy knew as well. He swallowed his fear, licked his lips and moved in for the kiss...

Six Sentence Sunday 10/9/11

Greetings, sixers! This week's six is yet more from my m/m erotic horror novella Last Friday Night. Over the past few weeks we've gotten to know a little about Tyler and Jessie and the terrible situation they've found themselves in. This week, the two of them are trying to escape their captivity, but Jessie can't quite keep his priorities straight. Did I mention that the two of them are totally naked the entire time they're in the house?

He shook his head. What the fuck was wrong with him? Their lives and the lives of the people they cared about were on the line and all he could think about was sex. But he couldn’t help it. There had to be something in this house kicking his sex drive into high gear; it was the only thing he could think of to explain why he was letting his eyes drink in Tyler’s bulging abs, triceps, biceps, and that sexy little treasure trail that led straight down to—

Jessie clenched his eyes shut and willed himself to focus.

Six Sentence Sunday 10/2/11

This week's six is more from my recently contracted horror novella Last Friday Night. The week before last, we met Tyler. Last week, we met Jessie. Now, let's have a look at the situation the two find themselves in that push their very manhood to the limit.

There was another soft chuckle. “Here’s the deal,” the voice said. There was an eerily loud creak as the door on the other side of the room swung open. “If you can get to the door downstairs, then you’re free to go. But know that there are tv screens set up all over the house. If the two of you don’t fuck each other, then you can watch as the people you love die.”

*Author's note: at the moment, I'm at the Ellora's Cave annual Romanticon convention, so I'll be a bit slow making my rounds to other blogs, but I promise I'll be sure to check everyone out by Wednesday.

Six Sentence Sunday 9/25/11

Today's six is more from my recently contracted novella Last Friday Night. Last week, we met Tyler and everyone had their own opinions about him. Now, let's see what Jessie, my other hero, thought.

Jessie didn’t know what to think of Tyler. There was something about the overgrown man that intrigued him, but he found himself irritated just as much as he was intrigued. The two of them had finished up their business relatively quickly and Jessie had offered to take Tyler home, but Tyler had refused. At first, Jessie had been taken aback; he wasn’t used to people turning down good-natured offers. He wondered if it had something to do with the funny looks Tyler had been shooting him the entire time they’d been in the cafe, but then as he was leaving, he saw Tyler sidle up to the waitress who’d served them and things became a little clearer.

But even now as he sat in his car atop the hill overlooking the ruins of what was so close to being his new home, he didn’t know what to make of the other man.
