Happy New Year sixers! In honor of new beginnings, here's a bit from the beginning of a story I'm going to start revising soon. It's called Anything But Ordinary. Ever tried really hard to pretend you're not drunk?
The growl died in Glory’s throat before it even had a chance to fully form. The man staring down at him looked even more like a walking sex god than usual. From the way his shirt was seemingly painted across his skin, accentuating every muscle in his chest and stomach, to the grin on his face that fit perfectly with his steely grey eyes and his close-cut blond hair.
The demon was hard before he even knew what to say. He’d been admiring this guy from afar for months, making his way out to this shithole club night after night if for no other reason than to catch a glimpse of that perfect specimen of manliness.
“I’m…uh…experimenting…” he said, taking great care to enunciate every word properly.
